Fascin (AB1541) mouse mAb

Description

Fascin is a highly conserved actin bundle protein, which is located in microfilaments and stress fibers involved in microfilament bundle formation. It is mainly expressed in dendritic cells and is a sensitive marker of R-S cells. Lymphocytes, plasma cells and myeloid cells did not express. It can be used to diagnose Hodgkin's lymphoma and Langerhans cell histiocytosis.

Immunogen

A synthetic peptide corresponding to the amino acid region 250 - 350 of the human Fascin protein.

Specificity

The antibody can specifically recognize human Fascin protein. In western blotting of Hela cell lysate, the antibody can label a 55 kDa band corresponding to Fascin, while there is no band detected in Fascin knock out Hela cell lysate.

Formulation

The antibody is provided in liquid form in phosphate - buffered saline with 50% glycerol, 0.05% BSA, and 0.05% Proclin 300.

Purification

The antibody was purified by protein G affinity chromatography.
