IL-31 Rabbit mAb

Flow cytometry: 1X10^6 NIH/3T3 cells (negative control,left) and C57BL/6 splenocytes (right) were surface-stained with CD22 Rabbit mAb (M2656,2μg/mL,orange line) or ABflo® 647 Rabbit IgG isotype control (M2770,2μg/mL,blue line), followed by Alexa Fluor® 647 conjugated goat anti-rabbit pAb staining. Non-fluorescently stained cells were used as blank control (red line).

Description
IL31, which is made principally by activated Th2-type T cells, interacts with a heterodimeric receptor consisting of IL31RA (MIM 609510) and OSMR (MIM 601743) that is constitutively expressed on epithelial cells and keratinocytes. IL31 may be involved in the promotion of allergic skin disorders and in regulating other allergic diseases, such as asthma (Dillon et al., 2004 [PubMed 15184896]).
