Western blot analysis of lysates from HEL cells, using Phospho-VASP-S157 Rabbit mAb (M2328) at 1:3000 dilution. HEL cells were treated by Forskolin (30 uM) at 37℃ for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight.|Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (SA0002) at 1:10000 dilution.|Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane.|Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.|Detection: ECL Basic Kit (RM00020).|Exposure time: 10s.

Description
This gene encodes a kinase that activates NF-kappaB in both the Toll-like receptor (TLR) and T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling pathways. The protein is essential for most innate immune responses. Mutations in this gene result in IRAK4 deficiency and recurrent invasive pneumococcal disease. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
