Cadherin is a kind of adhesion protein which belongs to a transmembrane glycoprotein superfamily. It plays an important role in structural integrity of epithelia. This antibody can detect many isotypes of cadherin.
The antibody can recognize many isotypes of cadherin including E-cadherin, N-cadherin, P-cadherin and R-cadherin. In western blotting of A431 and MCF7 cell lysates, the antibody can label a 130 kDa band.
