VE-Cadherin Rabbit mAb

Flow cytometry: 1X10^6 C2C12 cells (negative control,left) and bEnd.3 cells (right) were surface-stained with VE-Cadherin Rabbit mAb (A25003,2 μg/mL,orange line) or ABflo® 647 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A22070,5 μl/Test,blue line), followed by Alexa Fluor® 647 conjugated goat anti-rabbit pAb staining. Non-fluorescently stained cells were used as blank control (red line).

VE-Cadherin Rabbit mAb
Description
This gene encodes a member of the cadherin family of calcium-dependent glycoproteins that mediate cell adhesion and regulate many morphogenetic events during development. The encoded preproprotein is further processed to generate a mature protein. Mice lacking the encoded protein die in utero due to vascular insufficiency, caused by increased endothelial apoptosis. Multiple distinct genes of the cadherin family, including this gene, are found on chromosome 8.
