Description

PNGase F (Peptide N-Glycosidase F) is a high effective amidase derived from Elizabethkingia miricola. It cleaves asparagine-linked high mannose as well as hybrid and complex oligosaccharides from glycoproteins. The cleavage site of PNGase F is the amide bond between the N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) inside the protein and the asparagine residue, while converting the asparagine residue in the digested protein to aspartic acid. This product is expressed through recombinant expression in E.coli, and it contains a His tag. It does not contain glycerol and is commonly used for deglycosylation of antibodies and related proteins. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles during use.
