The IL-1alpha (Rat) OmniKine™ ELISA Kit contains the components necessary for quanititative determination of natureal or recombinant IL-1alpha concentrations within any experimental sample including cell lysates, serum and plasma.
Rat IL-1alpha recombinant protein was spiked into various biological samples and serial diluted with Assay Diluent 45HB for serum and/or plasma samples and Assay Diluent 1TD for RPMI 10% FBS.
Three concentrations of recombinant Rat IL-1alpha was spiked into various samples to measure the recovery percentage of recombinant protein in duplicate.
The data and subsequent graph were obtained after performing a cytokine ELISA for IL-1alpha. Each known sample concentration was assayed in triplicate. The OmniKine™ Rat IL-1alpha ELISA Kit allows for the detection and quantification of endogenous levels of natural and/or recombinant Rat IL-1alpha proteins within the range of 16-1000 pg/ml.
