Cytokeratin (AB1304) mouse mAb
Description
Cytokeratin can label keratinized epithelium, stratified squamous epithelium, stratified epithelium, proliferative keratinized cells and monolayer epithelium. It can be used in the study of various cancers. It is positive in various adenocarcinoma, small cell carcinoma, transitional cell carcinoma, malignant mesothelioma, germ cell tumors other than seminoma, leiomyosarcoma and some synovial sarcomas. CEA and EMA can be combined for the differential diagnosis of epithelial tumors and non epithelial tumors.

Immunogen
A synthetic peptide corresponding to the amino acid region 100 - 200 of the human Cytokeratin protein.
Specificity
The antibody can recognize multiple human Cytokeratins, including CK10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, and it can be used for immunohistochemical detection of tumors from monolayer and multilayered epithelium.
Formulation
The antibody is provided in liquid form in phosphate - buffered saline with 50% glycerol, 0.05% BSA, and 0.05% Proclin 300.
Purification
The antibody was purified by protein G affinity chromatography.
