Description

PCNA is a 36 kDa nuclear protein related to cell cycle, which is necessary for cells to synthesize DNA. It is expressed in S phase, G1 phase and early G2 phase of proliferating cells and is the main marker of cell proliferation index. It is used to study the cell proliferation of malignant tumor and judge its malignant degree, which is of certain significance to the treatment and prognosis of tumor.

Specificity

The antibody can specifically recognize human PCNA protein. In western blotting of Hela, A431 and HEK293 cell lysates, the antibody can label a 30 kDa band corresponding to PCNA.

The antibody is provided in liquid form in phosphate - buffered saline with 50% glycerol, 0.05% BSA, and 0.05% Proclin 300.
