Description

HCG is a glycoprotein hormone produced by placental syncytiotrophoblast cells. It is a dimer composed of α and β subunits with non-covalently bound. Chorionic gonadotropin (CG) , luteinizing hormone (LH) , follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) are all composed of α and β Subunits dimer, and their α subunit are the same, but β subunit is unique. Used for the classification of pituitary adenomas.

Specificity

The antibody can specifically recognize α subunits of human CG, LHuman, Rat, Mouse, d TSH proteins. In western blotting of Hela cell lysate, the antibody can label a 18 kDa band.

The antibody is provided in liquid form in phosphate - buffered saline with 50% glycerol, 0.05% BSA, and 0.05% Proclin 300.
