INI-1 (AB1552) mouse mAb

Description

INI1 is located on chromosome 22q11. 23 and encodes an important core subunit in SWI / SNF complex. It appears in all SWI / SNF complexes and is expressed in all normal cells. When the gene was mutated, the expression of INI1 was lost. This condition occurs in most malignant rhabdoid tumors and epithelioid sarcoma, renal medullary carcinoma, epithelioid malignant schwannoma, myoepithelial carcinoma, extraosseous myxoid chondrosarcoma and other tumors.

Immunogen

A synthetic peptide corresponding to the amino acid region 300 - 385 of the human INI - 1 protein.

Specificity

The antibody can specifically recognize human INI-1 protein, including INI-1A and INI-1B. In western blotting of Hela and LnCap cell lysates, the antibody can label two bands with molecular weight of 44, 43 kDa representing INI-1A and INI-1B respectively.

Formulation

The antibody is provided in liquid form in phosphate - buffered saline with 50% glycerol, 0.05% BSA, and 0.05% Proclin 300.

The antibody was purified by protein G affinity chromatography.
