Each antibody is produced in rabbits using synthetic immunogen peptides and purified via immunogen-specific affinity chromatography.

Modification-Specific Antibodies

Modification-specific antibodies are capable of detecting proteins post-translationally modified via acetylation, methylation, cleavage, mutation and phosphorylation at certain amino acids along the target protein.

Unmodified & Total Protein Antibodies

Unmodified and total protein antibodies are capable of detecting unmodified proteins as well as total amounts of the target protein that have undergone various types of post-translational modification, respectively.

Validation Methods

Before being included in the Assay Biotech catalog, each antibody is subject to vigorous quality control testing and validation through a combination of the following applications: Western Blots (WB), Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Immunofluorescence (IF).
